Curated by Aztec Record's own A&R team and showcasing some of the strongest referents of the genre as well as some incredible newcomers to the scene.
Following the highly successful Pure Synthwave and Pure Retrowave compilations, and faithful to their Latin origins, Aztec are presenting to the world a collection of amazing Synth music from Latin America.
From Buenos Aires to Mexico City via Medellin, this is a journey through some familiar synth sounds and aesthetic choices tinged with unmistakable Spanish vocals.
This collection will be a surprise for some, a revelation for others but ultimately, a fun discovery for all.
The aim is to showcase the great music of those shores and to go beyond the stereotypical notion of latin music. There's more to life than reggeaton and salsa and here's a small sample of the huge pool of talent.
